no-bake energy bites

Question. Remember when I went deer hunting last weekend? That best weekend of all time, ever? Well, I was on the verge of getting hangry before we left, and I am so glad I had made these the day before. Disclaimer – Still not over what an amazing weekend it was. Everyone has been so kind, and we are so thrilled to have such amazing people behind us.

But! Back to the task at hand. Task being snacks for the stand, that is. PS – “hangry” = hungry and angry and so much fun to be around. Hah. Enter the no-bake energy bite. I snagged a few of these nuggets before walking out the door to drive to Georgetown. Admittedly, I couldn’t wait until I got settled in the stand to snack. I finished them before we got on 17, just to give myself a little boost of energy and make sure my tummy was satisfied until dinner, or even later… Provided that I had some success in the stand… Which I did… Isn’t being prepared just the best? Just kidding. But in all seriousness, these no-bake energy bites are a great snack to have on hand to grab on the go, and they tide you over while your bored taking selfies hunting hard in the stand. They’re super easy to whip up, and I promise you won’t be disappointed. Or hungry!

I took the last batch to my office, mainly because I don’t need to eat half a cup of peanut butter daily, and they were quite a hit. If you know where I work, you know that it is all guys… “No-bake energy bites” might sound like you’re a yoga mom at Whole Foods, but they sure taste like something everyone will love. Trust me.
