Coloring Girl

Do you ever find yourself needing a way to get some creativity flowing? Or maybe you’re bored at home (or work!) and need something to occupy your mind? I’ve got just what you need!

I am super excited to have been asked to be the Featured Coloring Girl for October over at The WON, created by the crazy-talented Kimberly Kolb Eakin. Just wait until you see what she came up with.

Kimberly is the author of of “Full Metal Coloring: A Book of Downrange Reflection,” and creates some incredible works of art, before they even get colored in. [Y’all really have to check it out.]

When Barbara over at The WON reached out to me about being the coloring girl for October, I didn’t hesitate to say yes! Since I’d recently written about paddle board fishing, we though that would be a good topic for the piece. I sent a few photos over to Kimberly, and this is the one she picked:

Ol’ slot red. Got to love him. And Kimberly’s version?

Y’ALL! RIGHT?! From the 10,000 scales on the fish, to the ridiculous pattern on my ridiculous shirt – she NAILED. IT. Even the logo on my Frontera 1,000 dove club hat. I mean… Speechless.
