Its official. I have introduced my tiniest hunting buddy to the great outdoors. Taylor went on her first dove hunt at just 10 months old, and had the BEST time. I made sure to keep her in the shade, equipped with ear and eye protection, and lots of toys to entertain her.
Her favorite toy became an empty shotgun shell box – who knew?! We only stayed in the field about 30 minutes – just enough time before she got too hot and antsy, and just enough time for me to knock down a couple of birds.
Such a fun afternoon, and I cannot wait to get back out there with her again.
